The restaurant of Colle del Sole is located at the ground floor of the former cattleshed. Wide windows overlook the beautiful landscape of the countryside. Stone columns and arches give to our elegant restaurant also a country atmosphere. It is ideal also for ceremonies and for your special moments.

Our guests can enjoy characteristic dishes of the gastronomy tradition of Gubbio: friccò con la crescia (a sort of chicken stew with the typical salt pie of Gubbio), tagliatelle al sugo d’oca (Italian homemade noodles with goose sause), cotiche con fagioli (pork rind with beans), homemade pasta and “gnocchi” (Italian dumplings).

Vegetarian and gluten-free menu are served on request.

The restaurant is family-run. We combine the tradition of the home cooking with the haute cuisine. The owner Emanuele Biagiotti, who helps his wife in the preparation of the recipes, is a well-known chef. He has managed the food service both at the Turin 2006 Olympics and at the Rome 2009 World Swimming Championship. Furthermore, he has been the only Italian restaurant at the Valencia American’s Cup.
